Zentila announces improvement for meeting planners

ZentilaZentila, a new online booking tool for meetings, has announced their Great Reveal. An improvement to the previous veiled booking system, the Great Reveal will enable meeting planners to use Zentila for far more meetings and will drive even greater savings.

“Previously, when meeting planners booked with Zentila, they selected specific hotels they were interested in,” said Mike Mason, founder of Zentila. “When the bids came back from the hotels, everything but the name of the hotel was revealed. We did this in an effort to ensure only serious buyers were submitting RFPs and to eliminate window shopping.”

The addition of a “reveal” button to the site allows meeting planners to now “reveal” the names of the hotels after deciding if there is a bid worthy of booking.

Here’s how it works: Your selected hotels respond with an offer. The hotel names are not unveiled until meeting planners agree to a few simple terms, such as that they’re real meeting planners and that they intend to select one of the bids within 48 hours. After agreeing to those terms, the hotel names are revealed. Planners then select the best offer, and the winning hotel contacts the planner that same day.

“We have created a system that keeps the integrity of a Zentila meeting RFP – one that hotels will jump and respond to – while giving planners more control over their purchase,” said Mason.
