WorldEvents announces appointments to US and Netherlands

Following expansion of their New Jersey-based office to service a number of recent new business wins, WorldEvents™ is also expanding their presence in Europe. WorldEvents™ is delighted to announce the appointments of Charlotte Wilcox to account manager based in New Jersey and Annemarie den Broeder to senior account manager in Amsterdam.

Wilcox joined WorldEvents™ over four years ago after completing post-graduate work at Leeds Metropolitan University, England’s Center for Event Management. A year and a half after being hired at WorldEvents UK-based headquarters, she was promoted and relocated to the company’s U.S. hub in Lambertville, NJ. Wilcox will oversee a team of account executives and coordinators, and will ultimately be responsible for all aspects of operational project delivery for global and new client meetings.

Experienced in healthcare, financial and technological industry meetings, Wilcox currently finds herself focusing on pharmaceutical-based initiatives in her new role. When asked to comment, Wilcox said, “I’m thrilled at the new personal opportunity as well as the promising recent growth of WorldEvents™ in the US.”

A. den Broeder is an account manager with over 11 years experience in the event management industry, including two years with WorldEvents™ previously. She will be building on the success achieved in the past two and a half years by the EU team, which has seen the numbers in the Dutch office grow to 14. Her brief will be to help take the business on to its next stage of its growth. As part of her remit, she will be heavily involved in global client and new client business development, particularly in the Benelux region.

Commenting on the move A. den Broeder said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my time with WorldEvents™ the first time around so when I saw the opportunity come back I had little hesitation in accepting. This is a big decision for me as I will be relocating to Amsterdam but I am very excited about the future and helping WorldEvents™ to develop their service offer further.”

Speaking about the appointments Gary Dickinson, CEO, U.S. said, ‘I am delighted to see Charlotte in a growing role which will give a new focus to the U.S. office and help us to grow our business further in the future. I also join Andrew Winterburn, director, and Europe in welcoming Annemarie back to WorldEvents™.”
