The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport completed a $1.6 million renovation and redesign of its meeting and event spaces, including 19 meeting rooms, encompassing 38,000 square feet of space.
Under the direction of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the meeting space was consolidated on the ground floor. This gave planners the ability to see all of their group’s activities from one vantage point, making for efficient use of the space.
“This complete redesign will deliver what meeting planners have come to expect from The Westin Dallas Fort Worth,” said Jeremy Berlin, general manager, The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport. “The sleek modern design that embraces a simple yet organic feel will create a rejuvenating and inspiring environment for any event. Meeting planners will relish the layout of the meeting space and the efficiency it offers to our clients.”
All of the redesigned meeting and event spaces offer a fresh and modern look. The renovation included refreshing the Oak Ballroom, Irving Lecture Hall, pre-function rooms and breakout rooms as well as the complete refresh of the 10,541 square-foot Trinity Ballroom. All carpet, wall vinyl, lighting, art work, paint, woodwork and chairs have been refreshed.
