Visit Seattle, the city and King County’s official destination marketing organization, welcomed its newest convention services manager.
In her role, Meredith Hill will be responsible for assisting meeting planners in navigating Seattle, servicing citywide conventions and acting as a liaison to Visit Seattle’s valued partners.
“We are committed to building an experienced and professional services team, and Meredith is an excellent fit,” said Katy Willis, director of convention services, Visit Seattle. “We are delighted to have her strong hospitality background at Visit Seattle.”
Hill comes to Seattle after spending 12 years with Four Seasons Hotels, most recently as an event manager in Austin, Texas. Hill was responsible for managing highly visible and complex events with a diverse group of stakeholders. Two of her years with Four Seasons were spent in Vancouver, B.C. coordinating event logistics for NBC, UBS, and JetSet Sports during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
