TradeTec welcomes specialized exhibit designer

Companies count on exhibit experts like TradeTec, a full-service exhibit studio in Lombard, Ill., to design their tradeshow presence from concept through installation on the show floor.

It’s truly an industry where designers and creative minds are challenged every day to come up with the next big idea or innovative design that will propel their client’s brand to the next level.

The newest creative mind at TradeTec, Krista Lauer joined the company this summer and has hit the ground running.

“We are very excited to bring Krista on board at TradeTec. She has already demonstrated an outstanding understanding of the principles of exhibit design and has been able translate that into some very creative designs,” said Troy Trice, president, TradeTec.

Lauer is a graduate of Bemidji State University in Minnesota, where she earned a degree in Art & Design with an emphasis in Digital and Exhibit Design. Lauer first caught TradeTec’s attention through the Exhibit Designer and Presenters Association (EDPA) Mentorship Program. From 2013-2015, she was mentored by TradeTec’s Creative Director Chris Ybarra and gained hands-on experience designing tradeshow booths and displays.

In addition to the mentorship program, Lauer was a member of the University’s Design Guild, and was a student presenter at the 2014 and 2015 UMEDPA Meeting, the EXHIBITOR2014 meeting, and EXHIBITORLIVE 2015.
