Tradeshow industry releases new products

From new exhibit design solutions to online meeting management software, several tradeshow companies have been busy developing new products. Experient, Moss and Highmark Techsystems are just a few of the firms that are creating products and services for the next generation of exhibits and tradeshows.

Experient releases DecisionPoint 2™ analytics dashboard
Experient, a source for integrated meeting and event solutions, has released its upgraded DecisionPoint 2 platform for show organizers. Originally launched in 2009, DecisionPoint is Experient’s exclusive registration and housing information portal that provides executive-level performance summaries, specific registration and reservation information, and actionable data used to drive business decisions.

With DecisionPoint 2, show organizers access critical business intelligence anytime, anywhere, from any device. Upgrades specifically allow tablet users more flexibility. And event analytics are more accessible than before, allowing customized exploration of proprietary show data that showcases business in ways that were previously impossible. All components of show management, including document sharing, calendars, reporting and more are now located in one easy-to-navigate dashboard.

“Data and reporting are no longer about passing around Excel spreadsheets,” said Chrisse New, vice president of project management, Experient. “With DecisionPoint 2, show analytics are in-hand for a real-time method of examining, manipulating and exporting data in a much more interactive way.”

Moss’ new Construct 120 display

Moss introduces Construct 120
Moss will unveil Construct 120™, a next generation solution for today’s event marketing challenges, at EXHIBITOR 2013. The Moss exhibit at the show will be designed and built using Construct 120, a cost effective way to create large scale, high impact custom exhibits and temporary structures both indoors and out. The strong, simple and lightweight components free booth designs from the constraints and compromises of most systems and allows for the flexibility of curves, angles and long spans at heights most systems can’t handle.

Construct 120’s innovative hidden, super strong, self-aligning  Pull-Tite™ locking system is the key to creating high impact, modern structures. The Pull-Tite locking system far exceeds the strength and stability of most other portable systems.

Construct 120’s framing members are finished on all surfaces. Frame connections are precision fit and the framing is bendable. It allows designers to use limitless angles.

For brand messaging, Construct 120 is tension fabric attachable on any surface, with additional extrusions. This means stretch fabric graphics can be applied on any of the four frame faces. Construct 120 is also compatible with non-fabric graphics and solid panel construction.

nimlok

Nimlok’s 10-foot and 20-foot kits

Nimlok introduces more than 40 new products
Nimlok, one of the world’s providers of custom, custom modular and portable tradeshow exhibits, recently introduced over 40 new tension fabric displays and accessories to its existing Wave line of tension fabric backwalls, exhibit kits, hanging structures and displays.

Specifically, Nimlok introduced 12 new 10-foot kits and 15 new 20-foot kits, along with new fabric counters, backwall accessories, tablet stands and an expanded offering of hanging structures.

The new 10’ and 20’ Wave tension fabric exhibit kits integrate new branding, display and monitor mount elements for a total of 27 new versatile, all-in-one exhibit solutions. All kits feature lightweight structures made in the U.S. with high-quality tension fabric graphics hand sewn by skilled experts.

The new hanging structures feature more sizes, shapes and graphic options for a wide variety of three- and two-dimensional structures. The new Wave counters combine custom printed tension fabric graphics and high-quality tabletops to create lightweight, uniquely shaped counters with a sleek and modern look. New counters compliment Nimlok Wave exhibits, or work well as a stand-alone tradeshow accessory.

Highmark Techsystems unveils advanced accessories
Highmark TechSystems, a developer and supplier of advanced modular exhibit systems, recently announced that EXHIBITOR2013 will mark the debut of its advanced lighting accessories and package pricing for its ExpoDecks®, ExpoWalls® and Elements® products. These products can be used as complete solutions or in tandem with existing exhibit properties.

“We get a lot of questions about internally lit panels, and our new integrated, in-wall lighting solutions are a great way for designers to get the internal light they need without the hassle of on-site assembly,” said Chris Lake, COO, Highmark TechSystem.

Highmark is also debuting its first All-In pricing structure for rental kits in select cities.

“Our customers are often looking for ways to save time and hassle with the install of their Highmark TechSystems,” said Lake. “Together with our labor partners in select cities, we can now give customers a price that includes in-bound shipping, installation and dismantle labor and return shipping in an all in one, up front number. We are currently starting with three main tradeshow cities, Las Vegas, Orlando and Chicago, but we plan to expand this program.”

Highmark TechSystems will also display its new fabric accessory extrusions.

genie-mobile

GenieMobile’s new meeting manager

GenieMobile Launches Meeting Manager
GenieMobile recently launched Meeting Manager, a comprehensive tool that provides event organizers access to a range of one-to-one meeting programs which can be delivered at events.

“At GenieMobile we recognize that the key objective for all event attendees, whether they be a buyer or a supplier, is to create meaningful connections which will result in relevant business leads,” said Michael Douglas, operations director, GenieMobile. “Our new software supports event organizers in delivering this by creating a platform where pre-arranged meetings can be scheduled via the existing event engagement solutions.”

The tool has been specifically designed to enable event attendees to maximize the effectiveness of their attendance at an event by meeting the right people at a convenient, pre-planned location. Automated resource and agenda management ensures that meetings are allocated only when participants are available and at a free location. Diaries and requests are delivered to all participants via mobile apps and attendee web portal.

“Managing pre-arranged meetings at events has traditionally been a labor intensive and expensive task, however, Meeting Manager provides a quick and easy way for attendees to arrange meetings with key contacts, easing the workload of the event organizer,” said Douglas.

ConventionPlanit.com simplifies RFP process
For meeting professionals, getting request for proposal (RFP) responses within a timely manner is only half the battle. The other half of the challenge is analyzing them in an easy-to-compare format.

That’s where ConventionPlanit.com has stepped in to ease this task. With a new, free virtual tool called RFP Organization, RFPs submitted through ConventionPlanit.com’s RFP Valet® system can be easily tracked and compared.

Critical data such as number of rooms, rates, available dates, average rates for several types of meal functions, meeting room rental fees, AAA/Forbes rating, recent renovations, closest airport, shuttle service and prices are included in the RFP Organization tool.

“We asked meeting professionals what was most important to them, and they told us,” said David Markham, co-founder and principal, ConventionPlanit.com. “Then we created the tool a few months ago and we’ve been perfecting it since then.”

RFP Organization can also be customized to include other data that a meeting planner might want to track.
