Trade Show & Go creates easy show with patented MY PAL pallet

Noticing a universal problem when exhibitors used traditional wooden pallets, the president and CEO of Trade Show & Go invented and patented MY PAL, a modern, multi-configurable pallet designed to end long wait times after tradeshows.

ecn_072013_ntl_mypal_copy“I’m determined to create solutions for the exhibitor. As I like to say, ‘easy come, easy go, easy show’,” said Harry Steinbok, president and CEO, Trade Show & Go. “Before I created MY PAL, an exhibitor could wait up to six hours for their pallets. The MY PAL is there in an instant!”

As “virtually indestructible,” according to Steinbok, MY PAL is a durable high-density plastic pallet with a tested weight capacity of 1,200 pounds. In a video on the Trade Show & Go website, MY PAL is shown to be easy to set up and break down due to its light weight and no need for tools, meaning exhibitors can do it all themselves.

When not used as a pallet, MY PAL can be configured into a coffee table, bar, bench and two tradeshow display tables, allowing exhibitors to forgo renting tables.

“Table rentals are typically $125-$150 per table per show. If you do six shows a year, two tables per show, the savings could amount to $1,800 per year. Five years of shows – well you do the math. After one or two shows, it pays for itself,” said Steinbok.

Helping exhibitors rise above their competitors, MY PAL can be customized to include a company’s name and tradeshow banners.

“Throughout my 20 years of exhibiting at tradeshows, I always struggled with having to wait for my pallets at the end of the show,” said Steinbok. “I knew there had to be an easier way to solve the problem of time away from my business. Not knowing when your pallets are returned forces you to book a next-day flight, leading to an additional hotel stay.”

After discussing this problem with his peers, Steinbok decided to design his own pallet. He initially came up with a wood and metal pallet that was bulky and heavy, and after several attempts, he perfected MY PAL.

“When using MY PAL, the exhibitor can leave the show that day, eliminating an extra day of travel or time away from their business,” explained Steinbok.

The patent process for MY PAL started in 2010, which took two years to finalize. Offered online through the Trade Show & Go website and from a network of distributors, MY PAL was manufactured in the U.S. from 100 percent recycled materials. Through its product, the goal of Trade Show & Go is to help exhibitors work more efficiently and save money.
