Committing to Atlanta for its host city was an easy decision for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
The organization’s FABTECH event will continue its four-year rotation in 2014, 2018 and 2022 respectively.
FABTECH is a large metal forming, fabricating, finishing and welding event. The 2014 show is scheduled for Nov. 11-13 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Around 27,000 attendees and 1,400 exhibitors are expected to attend.
By contrast, FABTECH 2010 drew 22,000 attendees, a 12 percent increase over the organization’s first show in 2006.
