Shepard Exposition Services, a services provider in the events industry, entered a three-year partnership with Houston Automobile Dealers Association (HADA).
The contract allows Shepard to provide general contractor services for HADA’s annual event, the Houston Auto Show. The company’s first event will be Jan. 27-31, 2016.
“This partnership with Shepard will give the Houston Auto Show a whole new look, something that hasn’t been done in about five years,” said Wyatt Wainwright, president, HADA, “We’re looking forward to seeing the innovation and creativity Shepard will offer to elevate us to a tier-one event.”
Sponsored by the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Auto Show features more than 700 vehicles from major auto manufacturers as well as aftermarket exhibitors. Covering 700,000 square feet of Houston’s NRG Center, car lovers and consumers will see the newest in model year import and domestic vehicles, alternative energy vehicles, and concept cars. The show features a high-end luxury vehicle boutique and a unique opportunity to test drive more than 60 new vehicles from a wide variety of auto brands.
“We are excited about this partnership with HADA. Shepard penetrated the Texas market three years ago, and this partnership is evidence of the hard work we’ve put into establishing our footprint and growing our relationships down there,” stated Richard Maples, executive vice president of sales, Shepard Exposition Services.
Shepard is looking forward to the 2016 event and its continued growth in the Texas market.
