Shepard Exposition Services, a privately held expo company with offices in 10 U.S. markets, appointed a vice president of sales for its western region.
A long-time Shepard Associate, Ricardo Ortiz was tapped to lead the Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Phoenix sales teams as Shepard continues to experience record sales growth, and an expanding presence, in the western region.
“For me, success is about ensuring the right people are in the right roles and that they have a 360° awareness of how to make everyone around them successful, especially our customers. I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to our success at a higher level by working with my Shepard Associates throughout the western region to demonstrate and deliver the best customer service in the industry,” added Ortiz.
Ortiz has been at the forefront of Shepard’s growth in the west while serving as general manager of the Las Vegas operation since it opened in 2007.
