Reed Exhibitions, a global events organizer, has expanded its footprint in Asia with the acquisition of four Korean trade shows including the Electronics Manufacturing Korea show and several Home Table Deco Fairs. The fairs join Reed’s expansive portfolio which includes more than 500 events in 30 countries.
EMK held annually in Seoul is Korea’s largest electronics manufacturing exhibition, and HTD Fair, which is held in several locations across South Korea, highlights luxury home décor brands to decorators, designers, and consumers. Both belonged to K.Fairs, a Korean trade show organizer that has partnered with Reed on Korean exhibitions in the past.
Reed Exhibitions Asia-Pacific president Paul Beh said, “These acquisitions are very much in line with our efforts to reinforce Reed’s intent and capacity to grow in Korea. As one of the largest economies in Asia, we recognize the significant potential of this country and will rapidly expand our presence even further in future. We see attractive prospects for EMK and HTD Fair, and we’ll work as hard as we can to further enhance the prospects of these shows as they join the Reed family of events.”
