Pacific World is named an official partner of EIBTM

eibtm_25_years_venue_dates_rgbPacific World Spain once again has been appointed as the official destination management company (DMC) for the 25th annual EIBTM, which is scheduled to take place in Spain’s Fira Gran Via in Barcelona from Nov. 27-29.


Formerly known as Ultramar Events, Pacific World Spain has proven experience in managing large-scale and complex events and as a result has been appointed as EIBTM’s official DMC partner for the eighth consecutive year.

“During the previous editions of EIBTM, one of our key objectives was to constantlypacific_world_spain_logo improve the quality of our services,” said Matthias Lehmann, key account manager, Pacific World Spain. “We spend a great deal of time planning for this event to ensure that every aspect has been taken into consideration. We also pride ourselves on our team of qualified event planners who have worked on the show for a number of years and gained a very good understanding of EIBTM. This year, we are introducing risk assessment as well as accessibility travel.”

In addition to coordinating more than 5,000 room nights in official and unofficial hotels, Pacific World will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all hosted buyer transport to and from official hotels and transfers from Barcelona airport to the Fira Gran Via. They also will play an important role in the logistics for the official events, including the EIBTM Forum, Networking Event, Association Dinner, the CEO Summit, AIPC dinner and the EIBTM welcome party.

“Pacific World has been our official DMC Partner since 2004,” said Graeme Barnett, EIBTM event director, Reed Travels Exhibitions. “The entire operation takes a great deal of planning and it is important we work with a DMC who understands the needs of all of our attendees and constantly deliver innovative and creative solutions to our event requirements.”
