Pacific World, the global DMC, event management and PCO organization, announced its expansion.
Extending its reach with nine offices across Italy, Pacific World, recognized for delivering operational experience, creativity and best-in-class customer service globally, joined teams with the MICE division of TUI Travel plc joint venture Acampora Travel.
“We are delighted to announce the addition of Italy as a destination, which will join our growing portfolio. This addition will bring a great deal to the company, enabling us to strengthen our global value proposition for clients and extend our client expertise and knowledge to another key destination in Europe,” stated Herve Joseph Antoine, global managing director, Pacific World.
Based in Rome, the Italian headquarters will be led by Destination Manager Emanuele Pinna. The other eight offices will be located throughout Italy in essential destinations including Venice, Alghero (Sardinia), Viareggio (Tuscany), Sorrento, Ischia, Cefalù and Taormina (Sicily).
“Emanuele Pinna has 30 years of experience in the tourism industry and has been handling MICE business since 1991,” said Antoine. “Emanuele and his team have an enormous amount of experience when it comes to organizing events in Italy for companies coming from different parts of the world and various industries.”
Also added to the team is Evelyne Mancini De Boni as country manager for Italy.
“Evelyne, who also manages Monaco and French Riviera destination office, will bring a huge amount of knowledge to the team and she will assist in the successful implementation of Pacific World global Operational Excellence standards,” said Antoine.
Working closely with local governments and convention centers, Pacific World delivers event solutions in over 26 countries.
