Pacific World 10-years strong as official DMC for EIBTM

Pacific World, a destination and event manager and professional conference organizer, confirmed it will again deliver operational support for all aspects of EIBTM, a global expo for the meetings and events industry, scheduled Nov. 19-21 in Barcelona.

“EIBTM moved the show to Barcelona 10 years ago, and we are delighted to have been working with them to deliver the show since then. Each year, the show attracts over 15,000 meetings industry professionals to the city. Our role is to ensure that attendees receive the best service,” said Mónica Sala, country manager of Spain and Portugal, Pacific World.

Pacific World is responsible for managing over 5,000 hotel room nights, working with a list of official hotels to secure attractive rates for EIBTM delegates. This destination management company is also responsible for coordinating all official transportation services for Hosted Buyers and visitors attending the show. This involves over 200 daily transfers, which are coordinated by nearly 100 staff members. In addition, the company arranges private transportation services for CEOs and VIPs, according to bespoke requirements.

Through working closely with local governments and convention centers, Pacific World currently delivers event solutions in over 25 countries, including China, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Greece, Scotland, Portugal, Spain, Southern Africa, France, Monaco and England.
