Multi Image Group (MIG), an internationally recognized South Florida corporate communications agency, announced it was named a top four finalist in the 2014 Expo E.X.C.I.T.E Awards for “Best Interactive Exhibit” and “Best Use of Event Technology” at the 2014 National Automobile Dealers Association Convention (NADA), held Jan. 24-27 in New Orleans.
For a second year, MIG partnered with TD Auto Finance to create exhibit experiences that would attract, retain interest, build relationships and capture information. To do this, MIG created three separate interactive experiences – and trained all TDAF sales professionals on how to use the technology to demonstrate interactivity to clients and prospects.
- Burn Out – A custom-designed interactive prize wheel housed on a 103’ touchscreen monitor. Using RFID technology, the wheel was activated when the attendee slid a branded Hot Wheels car with an RFID sticker adhered to its backside across the screen.
- Virtual Dealership – A fully fabricated 3D environment that replicated the sights and sounds of a local car dealership. Using touchscreen technology, attendees could virtually walk through dealer and customer scenarios while learning more about TDAF offerings.
- Photo Ops – Using NADA media within the convention center, attendees could have their photo taken and be placed into myriad fun scenarios with props and scenery. Pictures were then emailed to attendees to post on their favorite social media sites.
“Our booth was unique, futuristic, interactive, warm and welcome,” said Lloyd David Balman, vice president & senior manager, events management, TD Bank. “Yes, we believe we have great products and services, but without MIG’s interactive experiences, we wouldn’t have been able to reach our target demographics as efficiently.”
