The M Resort Spa Casino, known for its four-star customer service and wide array of amenities, is increasing its appeal to meeting planners with a 25,000 square-foot expansion of its existing meeting space. The expansion, set for completion in mid-December 2011, will increase the overall size of the M Resort meeting space to 85,000 square feet.
The M Pavilion will be a ground-level structure accessible from the resort’s 17,000 square-foot Milan ballroom. It will offer event space suitable for concerts, large-scale galas and more. With 40-foot ceilings and space for 2,300 people, the M Pavilion will provide much needed additional space.
“Our customers were asking for more space and now with the M Pavilion we’re delivering with a venue that will truly be completely flexible, pillar-less and equipped with all the A/V connectivity meeting attendees need,” said Drew Varga, vice president of sales at the M Resort. “With the addition of this new venue, we’re able to commit up to 85,000 square feet without requiring more guest rooms from groups which puts us at a competitive advantage in the city.”
