National Trade Productions, Inc. (NTP), owner and producer of TS² announced today that TS² 2011 will take place in Philadelphia from June 7-9.
“We are pleased to be returning to Philadelphia,” said Christopher Harar, TS² show director. “We had a great show there in 2008 and based on feedback from exhibit managers and suppliers throughout the industry we look forward to capitalizing on the convenience of the Northeast location for another phenomenal event.”

The New Year's Eve furnishings from Lounge22 at the Bellagio featured Java Ottomans, Arctic Five Chairs and Lucca Ottomans.
CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has acquired the rental operations of Lounge22, including all product and exclusive rights to market the rental brand globally, making CORT’s Trade Show and Events Furnishing division the sole provider of Lounge22 designs.

Second quarter data indicates some optimistic signs with a 4.5 percent positive change in attendance.
The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announced that data collected for the annual CEIR Index report for the second quarter of 2010, marked the ninth consecutive quarter of underperforming the previous year. The exhibition industry experienced an overall decline of 1.4 percent when compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

The Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) 2010 Exhibitors’ Choice awards at TS2, Total Solutions for the Exhibit and Event Professional held July 13-15 at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center in Boston, Mass., was a smash hit.
Several companies and organizations are reveling in the afterglow of walking away with top honors; 11 in all. Each category accorded an overall champion as well as an honorable mention recipient.
