Spectrum Show Services, a full service exhibitor appointed labor contractor, is venturing into new territory by opening a new office in Las Vegas.
July marks the official opening of the Las Vegas office which will broaden the scope of services to Spectrum clients, said President Ron Mestichelli. The new office will help "provide the services that our clients have grown to expect," Mestichelli said. The company founded in 1992, offers services for projects such as private events, museums, permanent installations and tradeshows. Headquartered in Bellmawr, New Jersey, Spectrum maintains a fully staffed office and warehouse facility. All coordination, planning and labor management begins at the company's headquarters. Once an order has been processed, the planning department informs the appropriate field office of a client's projects. Steps are then taken to coordinate all logistics with that office to ensure a successful event. With most of the operations in the northeast region, Mestichelli, and Las Vegas office manager Chris Drozd, are excited to break new ground in the West. "It's interesting, it's exciting, we have great expectations," Drozd said of the new office. "The Las Vegas location will enable Spectrum to have a stronger national profile and presence as an exhibitor appointed contractor," said Mestichelli, who is a former president of the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Association, EACA. Drozd said expanding the operation is in the company's best interest, despite the economic downturn. "[Spectrum] felt like it was time to have an office in the West," said Drozd. "This is a starting point," he added. "We hope to able to move forward with it." Drozd is ready to manage the full-time operation of the Las Vegas branch. "It's an opportunity to build something lasting out here," Drozd said. "As time progresses we'll add full-time personal." Drozd has spent about 20 years in the tradeshow industry, starting out building shipping crates, to traveling project supervisor and city manager prior to his current position at Spectrum. "He's well respected, talented industry veteran," Mestichelli said. For more information, visit www.spectrumshowservices.com |
