This is the initial donation of what is expected to be a series of donations of building materials towards the reconstruction of the Rebel Recycling Center and the future site for a campus community garden. Repurpose AMERICA is non-profit organization whose mission is to enable a sustainable community through innovation and education. Repurpose AMERICA was created to be a sustainable solution for many obstacles of managing excess material waste that is faced by the The Rebel Recycling Program provides 26,000 students and over 3,000 faculty that make up the campus with comprehensive waste reduction, recycling, and resource management in an efficient, timely manner. “Rebel Recycling is very grateful to Zachary Delbex, CEO of Repurpose AMERICA and the Consumer Electronic Association for their generous donation to the UNLV Rebel Recycling Center,” said Tara Pike, founder of UNLV Rebel Recycling. “This sunshade will help dramatically in protecting our staff from the summer heat. Repurpose America is making a significant difference in protecting our environment and our community on a daily basis in Southern Nevada.” |
