| Walter E. Washington Convention Center adds digital signage |

The Washington Convention and Sports Authority (WCSA) introduced its state-of-the-art Oculus Digital Signage Network. The network is comprised of more than 140 digital displays and signs throughout the Walter E. Washington Convention Center that will provide customized updated information including daily event schedules and other event and building details, special production video for events, advertisements, sponsor and exhibitor content, broadcast television, internal video broadcasts, event video distribution and artistic content. “There is very high demand for this type of product and our convention center has the infrastructure to take digital signage to the next level,” said Gregory A. O’Dell, president and CEO of the Washington Convention and Sports Authority. “In addition to the benefits for center visitors, this comprehensive digital sponsorship and way-finding system is a revenue generator for our customers who can develop their own content or work with their partners to deliver targeted information to attendees.” Features of the digital signage include
