Starting on Tuesday, the new Pre-Conference: TS2 Interactive was a one day event of networking-based workshops designed to deliver actionable tactics that can be implemented on the most pressing daily issues. Later that night, the Welcome to Boston Block Party officially launched TS2. Located at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center, the block party was open to all attendees and exhibitors, as long as they were 21-years-old.

“The Welcome to Boston Block Party had better attendance than we expected,” said Chris Harar, TS2 show director. “The attendees had a great attitude and a lot of energy. The rain held off until the party was over, allowing guests the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the food and atmosphere.”

Another exciting debut this year is at the IN Zone Lounge and Networking Center. Emilie Barta, professional tradeshow presenter, conducted the first-ever virtual event at TS2. Barta interviewed industry thought-leaders live from the IN Zone in front of a virtual audience that had previously registered online. The IN Zone is also featuring a Social Media Lounge and Cyber Café designed to keep attendees and exhibitors plugged into the online world while attending the event. “We are extremely excited to add this level of interactivity to the show floor,” said Chris Harar, TS² show director. “The virtual and viral nature of today’s world means that TS² will be able to impact a much larger audience this year, than ever before.”
