Independent electrical contractors extends Hargrove contract

iec-logoThe Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) recently signed a five year contract with general services contractor Hargrove to provide the IEC with a wide range of services for the 2011-2015 annual convention and expo.

Hargrove will provide overall project and account management, exhibitor services, design, graphics, technical services, show inventory and warehousing.

The 53rd IEC Annual Convention and Electric Expo held in 2010 in Phoenix, Ariz. in late October is expected to attract close to 200 exhibitors and representation from the association’s 66 chapters.

The convention’s official host and premier sponsor is the Home Depot, and a wide range of educational training will be offered including sessions on sustainability, safety and new technologies.

“In the last three years Hargrove has more than demonstrated why they are one of the leading general services contractors in the U.S. and growing every day,” said Larry Mullins, IEC’s CEO, “We’re grateful for the spirit of partnership they bring to the table and look forward to our continued relationship.”

“We are extremely honored that IEC has recognized our commitment to their success by renewing our contract for five additional years,” said Tim McGill, CEO of Hargrove, Inc. “The Electric Expo’s success is due, in part, to the association’s ability to attract exhibitors who offer innovative products, as well as nationally renowned sponsors. Hargrove will continue to deliver exemplary service for this important association.”
