IMN Solutions, the full-service meetings management company, has hired a new Director of Marketing and Events. The new director will be responsible for client satisfaction and retention, business development, and all community-based alliances.
Mariana Gallo, who is already a meetings industry executive, served three years as Vice President of a meeting consulting firm based in Redmond, Wash., where she managed the sourcing and contracting negotiations for Microsoft’s Tier One Events.
Prior to that, she spent six years as a Strategic Account Manager at Experient Inc. Gallo focused on association account management, providing sourcing, contracting, housing and registration, and logistics management for up to 15 association accounts, ranging from 1,200 to 30,000 attendees.
In her 20-year career, Gallo worked in both hotel sales and conference management departments at properties including the Washington ANA Hotel, DH&R Monarch Hotel, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels, and the New York Marriott Marquis.

Gallo is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and an active member of the Capital Chapter and the Pacific Northwest Chapters of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). She has recently served on the Atlanta, Ga. customer advisory board.
