IAEE announces 2013 Art of the Show Competition results

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announced the recipients of its annual Art of the Show Competition. While there were 162 total submissions for the 2013 competition, only 35 entries will be honored for their combination of several essential marketing elements needed to promote exhibitions and events.

Garnering submissions from the U.S., Canada and England, the winning entries will be on display at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition to be held Dec. 10-12 in Houston, Texas.

Each year, IAEE presents a Best of Show award, which is selected from the individual category winners of the Art of the Show competition. An independent, credentialed panel of judges selects the Best of Show winner. This year’s Best of Show winner is Don Schaaf & Friends, Inc /ds+f for its NAB Show 2013 “Landing Page Animation” in the Most Innovative Use of Technology category.

The Art of the Show competition recognizes excellence in promotional materials for the exhibitions and events industry. It includes 15 different categories of competition, spanning three show sizes.

The 2013 IAEE Art of the Show Competition winners are:
