International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), an organization for show managers, exhibitors and exhibition suppliers, expanded its awards program.
The IAEE International Excellence Award recognizes an individual and/or organization that has made exceptional strides in creating, launching and managing an international event in the exhibitions and events industry on an international scale.
“In 2013, IAEE covered significant ground in expanding our international reach,” said David DuBois, president and CEO, IAEE. “It became obvious fairly quickly that we have strong advocates across the globe – not just on IAEE’s behalf but for the exhibitions and events industry as a whole – and we are eager to recognize and encourage their efforts.”
Qualifications for this award include demonstrating significant development and/or improvement in the following areas:
- Exhibitor and attendee growth at an international show(s)
- Expansion of education opportunities in a particular region
- Industry advocacy across international borders
- Promotion of IAEE’s programs and presence on an international level
The recipient of the IAEE International Excellence Award will be honored during IMEX Frankfurt, to be held May 20-22 in Frankfurt, Germany. Nominations for this award must be received by March 10.
