“This is the fifth international meeting, organized by SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF), which will showcase the exciting developments in genomics technologies, their applications in life sciences, including human, plant and animal biology, drug discovery, clinical trials and personalized therapy,” he explained.

The conference will attract 750 delegates to Hyderabad.

In other news, HCVB celebrated its fourth anniversary and welcomed two event management companies as new members — Rachoutsav and Wizcraft.

“Hyderabad Convention Visitors Bureau has officially entered into its fourth year of existence, marking and celebrating the grand victories it has nurtured for Hyderabad and MICE tourism in the State. HCVB would continue to transcend its efforts for not only the representatives of the Bureau or Hyderabad, but for the representation of the 10 million population that resides in the city. Additionally it is further estimated that India would be one of the youngest nations by 2020 and this changing demographic condition is going to render an ocean of great opportunities for any industry, specifically the MICE sector,” Khan said.
