She’s served on the membership/ hospitality committee for several years, and as a board member, she oversaw the activities of awards and scholarships, member care, finance and education committees.

As senior sales manager of the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, a hotel on the campus of Duke University, her responsibilities include sales solicitation on behalf of the hotel and working with groups requiring at least 10 or more guest rooms, with or without the need for meeting space.

She also works with other area universities, wedding and social event guests needing a block of rooms and pursues new business opportunities and accounts for the hotel.

In 1999, Moye started a year-long manager-in-training role where she learned the operations of all departments while rotating through various managerial capacities. It was during this program that she found her passion in the sales and marketing department, where she’s remained ever since.

Moye graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. where she earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and a minor in business and vocal music performance.

She lives in Raleigh with her husband, Brandon, and their two kids, Peyton and Austin, along with two dogs and a cat. When she’s not juggling her work and personal life, she enjoys the beach, singing with her church choir, the performing arts and spending time with friends and family.
