Hospitality Performance Network Global appoints new VP

Hospitality Performance Network Global (HPNG), the world’s most global site selection and meeting procurement company, hired a meeting executive as vice president of Global Accounts in Bethesda, Md. 

Marc Seidman will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with large association and corporate accounts throughout the U.S.

“Marc brings over 25 years of meeting planning and sales experience,” said Bill Kilburg, chairman and CEO, HPN Global. “His extensive breadth and depth of industry experience will allow Marc to be our ‘Client Advocate.’ He’s capable of designing and creating effective proposals to meet any group’s needs. Marc will be an asset to our growing team of meeting planning executives across the country.”

Prior to joining HPN Global, Seidman spent 11 years at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. Beginning as senior account executive, for NE-SE Association and Labor Unions after eight years, he became destination sales executive in 2012.

Seidman also served as national sales manager for Projection Presentation Technologies focused on General Session/Convention Center events. During the late 90s in his role as director of sales (D.C. office) for the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau his team was responsible Conference/Tradeshow Account Management and pre-opening sales of Navy Pier and McCormick Place, especially the new South Building.  In this role, handling some of Chicago’s largest tradeshows, he gained extensive experience in “total account management” and “sourcing/room block development.”

His other experience includes sales and marketing positions with Ambassadors Performance Housing/Registration, Sheraton Corporation and Hyatt Hotel Corporation.

Seidman graduated from the University of New Mexico.
