Holman updates booth for University of Guelph Humber

Holman, a design, fabrication and exhibit management company, worked with Guelph Humber once again this year on the 45-by-20-foot booth created for the Ontario University Fair. The university exhibits every year at the Ontario Universities’ Fair.

This year, a number of updates and changes created a new feel to the booth.

“Our booth, our presentations and our representatives try to make the campus come to life at the fair,” said Melissa Melo, the university’s manager of recruitment.

Holman made some changes to the custom designed booth to reflect Guelph Humber’s 10th Anniversary. For example, the color scheme was changed from white to blue and purple, and new graphics were created to make the booth stand out.

The back wall remained the same, as it was designed to match the living plant wall at the University. Seven custom-built circular information counters give the opportunity for prospective students to talk with school representatives. This year, a two-inch kick was added to the bottom. Grab and go book racks were added to make it easy for visitors to quickly take a course calendar, which was found to be a very successful addition. The seven custom lampshades that highlight the university’s programs were also changed to blue and purple. Three touch-screen LCD monitors and one 55-inch monitor ran video information on the university and contests that they had running during the show.
