Holman Exhibits Limited founder passes away

The founder of Holman Exhibits Limited, a provider of solutions for exhibits and events, passed away from cancer on Jan. 7.

“It is very difficult to part with a colleague and a friend who believed so strongly not just in work, but in the people of Holman. [Peter’s] influence will always be felt throughout our offices and in the work of Holman,” said Dirk Trefzger, chief operating officer, Holman Exhibits Limited.

Holman’s enthusiasm and passion impacted all who had the privilege to work with him. He injected a desire to deliver the very best for his clients and worked tirelessly until each project achieved its successes.

“Peter set the stage for what today is the Holman family. He will be missed for his contagious spirit, dedication and care,” said Wendy Cudney, chief financial officer, Holman Exhibits Limited.

Resulting in Holman Exhibits Limited design and fabrication work on display from coast to coast was Peter Holman’s long-standing relationships with Canadian museums, visitor centers and galleries.

Most recently, his efforts resulted in the fabrication of the Giant Panda exhibit at the Toronto Zoo as well as the interactive David Bowie exhibit at Toronto’s AGO; The Rooms in Newfoundland; and ongoing projects at the Bata Shoe Museum.
