Hill & Partners’ team of branded environment specialists are coming off another performance at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market on behalf of longtime client and leader of high-performance fabric and material, Polartec. The 2015 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, Aug. 5 – 8.
The company designed a total of six client exhibits at this year’s show, spanning a total of 6,800 square feet of floor space, with an intensified focus on Polartec and their 2015 Polartec APEX Awards. Each year, Polartec honors the select APEX Awardwinners with a Malden Trophy, the coveted symbol of recognition for the designers that use innovation and creativity to transform Polartec fabrics into inspiring high-performance garments.
“After so many years participating in the Outdoor Summer Show, it was once again a tremendous honor to collaborate with Polartec to display the luxury material and sophisticated finishes that have cemented the company at the very top of the outdoor apparel retailer industry,” said Michael McMahon, president, Hill & Partners. “Our team did an amazing job in designing an environment that showcased the most innovative uses of Polartec fabric amongst the two most important groups present at the show – designers and manufacturers.”
In addition to Polartec, Hill & Partners designed, built and executed environments for High Sierra Inc., Terramar Sports, Khombu Footwear, Unifi Manufacturing and Nilit Fibers. Amongst the six client exhibits that Hill & Partners designed and constructed, four were Custom Branded Environments and two Rental Branded Environments, one of which included Polartec. Polartec’s primary objective was to showcase their company and products in a highly sophisticated and technical way.
2015 marks the 20th year Hill & Partners has been designing branded environments for Polartec, making the apparel leader Hill & Partners’ oldest client. Through two decades of experience with the client and its unparalleled products, Hill & Partners was able to highlight Polartec’s long history of innovation and collaboration into one cohesive branded environment.
Hill & Partners displayed the APEX Award winning garments in an impressive storefront-like display on the side of the booth. Accented with a white glossy aluminum finish, the inside of the booth was a double-deck configuration featuring numerous comfortable meeting spaces. The main feature included The Technology Milestone History wall, which told Polartec’s 109 years of experience through their five fabric lines. Each square was complete with small backlight vignettes that told Polartec’s engaging history. Polartec’s 40 x 50 booth emanated refined design and technology, the two characteristics that most effectively set them apart as an industry leader.
Outdoor Summer Market is the largest annual outdoor sports show of its kind, and satisfies the outdoor sports demographic. The show has been a staple event in Hill & Partners’ annual tradeshow calendar and once again was a highlight of the summer as Hill & Partners celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2015.
