Hill & Partners earns recognition for exhibit design

The 44th Creativity International Print & Packaging Design Awards honored Hill & Partners for exhibits designed on behalf of Demandware and GTECH.

Hill & Partners received a Silver Award for the Rental Branded Environment designed for digital commerce leader Demandware, and was awarded with an Honorable Mention for the Custom Branded Environment designed for lottery and gaming heavyweight GTECH.

“Being recognized amongst the stiffest of competition in this year’s Creativity International Print & Packaging Design Awards is a great tribute to our amazing creative design team here at Hill & Partners, and I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work,” said Michael McMahon, president, Hill & Partners. “Demandware and GTECH are both longstanding clients that are truly at the top of their respective industries, and it is an honor to represent them with these awards.”

Entrants into this year’s competition represented 32 countries and 22 states in America. Out of the thousands submitted, less than 800 were forwarded to judging and about two-thirds of this year’s judged entries won an award – 45 percent received Honorable Mention, 35 percent received a Silver designation, 12 percent received a Gold designation and only a slim .5 percent received the coveted Platinum or Best in Category Award.

Hill & Partners teamed up with Demandware in 2009 in efforts to hyper-focus Demandware’s tradeshow marketing. At the time, Demandware’s tradeshow marketing primarily focused on clients that were utilizing its software products and how to best demonstrate its services to attendees.

Over the years, Hill & Partners has worked hand-in-hand with Demandware to redirect its marketing efforts to showcase Demandware as the umbrella brand for these individual products and strengthen the brand’s overall presence in the marketplace. Silver award-winning exhibit at this year’s Print & Packaging awards transformed an intangible product into a physical representation with sleek customer product displays and varying uses of materials and textures.

Hill & Partners’ working relationship with GTECH stretches 20 years, and the gaming leader is one of the company’s longest standing clients. Over the years, Hill & Partners designed a variety of exhibits for GTECH representing the brand’s vibrant personality but per request of GTECH, designed a sleeker, more upscale representation of the brand representing a high-end boutique hotel rather than a typical casino scene, which in turn, garnered an Honorable Mention from this year’s Print & Packaging awards.

Hill & Partners’ projects with Demandware and GTECH, earning awards from the 44th Creativity International Print & Packaging Design Awards further the Massachusetts-based company’s reputation for providing industry-leading professional exhibit management services to an array of clients recognized as leaders in their respective business sectors worldwide.
