HCEA brings 2015 Healthcare Marketing Summit in Boston

Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA), which represents organizations involved in healthcare exhibitions and conventions, will host its annual Healthcare Marketing Summit at the Hyatt Regency in Boston Jan. 21-22.

We will take an in-depth look at how the new European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) Disclosure Code will affect the U.S. medical meetings industry. Davide Veglia, president & CEO of ABTS Convention Services, and Dr. Ralph Ives, executive vice president of for Global Strategy & Analysis for AdvaMed, will share their knowledge on the new regulations and how best to market internationally.

In addition to the international sessions, the HCEA 2015 Summit will offer, a healthcare professionals panel and interactive sessions on topics, including bringing a drug to market, compassionate patient care, the latest on the Open Payments Program (Physician Payments Sunshine Act) as well as the HCEA State of the Industry Report.

On the first day of the Summit, HCEA has teamed up with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and St. Louis University (SLU) to offer the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC).  The certificate program is targeted for those who are involved in planning and reporting transparency and spend as well as for those suppliers who provide services and products to the healthcare industry. The HMCC is a great opportunity for attendees to further their knowledge of the Open Payments Act.

HCEA would like to thank its 2015 Summit sponsors: GES, Freeman, EWI Worldwide, Impact Unlimited, Philadelphia CVB and Pennsylvania Convention Center, Access, BlueHive, EventPilot, Matrex Exhibits and PSAV.
