Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki completes beautification project

hawaiiTo bid Waikiki visitors a warmer “welcome,” the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club has beautified its frontage along Ala Moana Boulevard with enhanced landscaping and a revitalized eco-friendly redesigned signature waterfall.

“We are the first hotel you see as you enter into Waikiki, and we wanted to establish a more welcoming ‘curb appeal.’ especially with APEC coming up,” said Wade Gesteuyala, hotel manager. “The end product is both stunning and tranquil, and creates a much-improved Hawaiian ambience.”

Also completed in the $5 million hotel makeover is the refreshment of all 521 guestrooms under the guidance of interior designer Philpotts & Associates. In addition, new carpet and furnishings have been installed at Prince Court and Hakone restaurants, and Wi-Fi service is now available for guests in all rooms as well as the lobby and pool deck.

The 33-story hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Hawaii Convention Center, where many APEC meetings will be held. It offers all oceanfront accommodations along with Western and Asian dining choices to suit the palette of its international clientele.

Prince Resorts Hawaii, Inc. also operates Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Mauna Kea

Beach Hotel, as well as three golf courses: Hawaii Prince Golf Club, Hapuna Golf Course and Mauna Kea Golf Course.
