Hargrove was selected by full-service meeting planning company Meeting Solutions, Inc. (MSI), based in Baltimore, to provide general contracting services for an international conference held by the Public Sector Leaders Forum, Latin America and the Caribbean. The conference, sponsored by Microsoft, was held April 29-30 in Mexico City, Mexico, and included Panamanian President Francisco Rodríguez and Mexican President Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa as well as Steve Ballmer, CEO of the Microsoft Corporation.
Leaders discussed, among other topics, the influential role of technology in global social and economic growth; public/private partnerships and the future of telemedicine.
Hargrove, a general services contractor in the tradeshow, events and exhibits industries, provided a wide range of services including design, fabrication and installation of stage décor, audio visual and décor for an offsite event.
“Given the importance of this international meeting, Hargrove was the obvious choice as the general contractor,” said Melissa Greenhouse, director of logistics and clients services for MSI. “We’ve relied on Hargrove for years because they consistently provide exceptional service and quality work.”
“We’re increasingly asked to provide services internationally, and the Microsoft event is a great example of that work,” said Tim McGill, CEO of Hargrove. “MSI is an amazing third party planner, and we appreciate the partnership.”
