Gielissen Interiors & Exhibitions acquires Nuance International

nuanceGielissen Interiors & Exhibitions has announced the acquisition of Nuance International, an exhibit and interiors design and project management firm in Metro Atlanta, Ga. Gielissen, based in the Netherlands for nearly 75 years, is one of the largest international interior and exhibition companies. With this most recent acquisition, Gielissen now has eleven locations worldwide.

“This was the logical next step to serving the global needs of our clients,” said Bart Wigman, CEO of Gielissen. “By adding the experienced team of Nuance International to our organization, we now can better serve the needs of (our) customers, especially those based in the USA.”

Now as part of Gielissen Worldwide, Nuance International customers will have the ability to contact the US-based team. Customers will also have direct connection to the over 350 employees and nearly one million square feet of production space for the design, fabrication, and installation of exhibits and interiors throughout Europe and in the Middle East.

“For many years we have managed complex exhibit and interior projects for clients around the world,” said Jeff Hannah, president of Nuance International. “While clearly we have seen our clients’ budgets tighten in recent years, their need to have global access to world-class fabrication and project management has dramatically increased. With this change, we are in a unique position to offer the best of both worlds when it comes to cost-efficiencies and convenience for our customers.”
