GES ‘makes no little plans’ at PCMA Convening Leaders 2015

Convening Leaders is known for its excellent education opportunities. As part of PCMA’s Convening Leaders complimentary hybrid sessions, GES will present several sessions.

    Monday, Jan. 12 at 1:15 p.m. CT
    Presented by GES Executive Vice President of Strategy and MarketWorks David Saef; and LBR Enterprises founder and CEO Lori Rugh – available as a hybrid session
  • Survey with Impact: Transform Traditional Event Surveys into Actionable, Valuable Assets
    Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 1:30 p.m. CT
    Presented by David Saef; GES Manager of Strategy, Marketing Steve Duberchin; and American Association of Diabetes Educators Director of Meeting Services Gregg Lapin, CMP – available as a hybrid session
  • Show Us Your Surveys! Event Survey Transformation Activity
    Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 2:45 p.m. CT
    Presenters from the Survey with Impact session will lead attendees through an exercise of thinking critically about their current survey strategy from an overall meeting standpoint.
  • Meeting and Experience Design Gallery
    GES Vice President of Design and Creative John Woo sharing topics related to tradeshows, space challenges and cool spaces. The Meeting and Experience Design Gallery runs throughout Convening Leaders and will be closed during the general session and lunch times.

In addition, CadmiumCD, GES’ content management partner, is presenting on Jan.12 at the TechCentral Demo, located in the Learning Lounge, and at the Tech Spot as part of the hybrid sessions.

GES employees are active members of PCMA. Kristina Simkins, product director, onPeak | GES, will be recognized as a member of the PCMA 20 in Their Twenties – Class of 2015. Doug Bennett, director of sales, central division, GES will be honored by PCMA’s Greater Midwest Chapter with the Richard A. “Dick” Daignault Award for his dedication to the meetings industry. John Patronski, executive vice president of industry relations, GES, will also complete his 2014-2015 term as a PCMA Education Foundation Trustee.

Supporting PCMA, GES is the founding and sustaining sponsor of Party With A Purpose, an event committed to making a difference in the Convening Leaders’ host city. This year’s event will benefit Future Founders Foundation, an organization that inspires youth in Chicagoland to explore and practice entrepreneurship. Additionally, GES will also sponsor PCMA’s mobile meeting app and will host a lounge during the opening party at the Museum of Science and Industry in the Pilsen Neighborhood.
