GES debuts new wall system at MAGIC

General services contractor Global Experience Specialists (GES) stepped up to the plate at MAGIC, a leading digital marketplace of fashion retail buyers and brands, held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas on Aug. 18-20.

When asked by Advanstar, an event and marketing services firm, to create a new show look that would take MAGIC to the next level, the product development team at GES created an entirely new wall system that allowed exhibitors to brand exhibits, but also have structural and aesthetic flexibility.

“Sometimes thinking outside of the box doesn’t require completely reinventing the wheel, but it does require change,” said Mark Munhall, senior vice president of national accounts, GES.

FIT 3.0 is a versatile, exclusively designed GES system. Led by GES’ product development team based out of Las Vegas and Chicago, the development of the system was a cross-country effort of research, testing and creating a prototype.

Polished, finished edges give a high-end look to FIT 3.0, GES's exclusively designed double-sided wall system panels.

Challenging traditional trade show design, the wall system contains high end finishes that only elevated the look of the show.

The multi-functional system offers various configuration possibilities and accessories. A fabric insert allows overlay options and light box incorporation, creating a truly unique offering.

“By offering a limited amount of structures with an infinite amount of material options, MAGIC now has a unified show look without restricting visual opportunities for branding,” Munhall stated. “The beauty of this system is that it gives exhibitors the ability to totally change the feel of a space through material selection. The industry is hungry for something new and we believe this system feeds that desire.”

GES installed 23,000 double-sided panels in luxurious white fabric for a chic blank canvas at Mandalay Bay and Las Vegas Convention Center.
