GES announces promotions of U.S. Sales team

Global Experience Specialists (GES), a global full service provider for live events, announced the promotions of several experienced leaders on its U.S Exhibition Sales team.

GES promoted Chuck Grouzard to executive vice president of U.S. exhibition sales. In his new role, Grouzard will be responsible for managing current GES accounts, strategically identifying and driving new business development, sales training and administration as well as industry development and participation. Grouzard joined GES in 1987 as a sales manager and has been promoted to positions of increasing responsibility. He is active in the industry and is past president of the Exhibition Services and Contractors Association (ESCA) and International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Midwest Chapter, and is a member of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). Grouzard is a Miller Heiman Certified Sales Trainer, and in 2014, he received ESCA’s President’s Award for outstanding contributions to the association and the exhibition industry.

Also promoted were Bob Ryley; John Loveless, CEM; and Scott Crawford, CEM to vice presidents of national sales.

Ryley has been with GES for 27 years with roles in sales, account management and operations. He is also responsible for GES’ recognized Management Associate Program. Ryley is on the board of directors of ESCA and is active in IAEE and PCMA.

John Loveless

Loveless has been with GES for 26 years and has been promoted to sales and account management roles of increasing responsibility. Loveless will continue working with his existing portfolio of clients, in addition to focusing on strategic and tactical planning for generating and managing new business development and enhancing client services.

Loveless earned his Certification in Exhibition Management (CEM) in 2011 and is active in local IAEE and PCMA chapters. He is also co-chair of the PCMA Exhibits and Trade Show Task Force and is a member of the 2016 Convening Leaders Content Committee.

Scott Crawford
Scott Crawford

Crawford has been with GES for 17 years in a variety of sales management roles. In his new position, Crawford is responsible for generating and managing business development, maintaining client accounts and leading National Sales team members. Crawford is active in IAEE and PCMA. He earned his CEM designation in 2010.

Pamela Mather
Pamela Mather

GES also announced that Pamela Mather, CEM has joined the company as director of national sales. Mather is based in Denver, Co., and brings more than 20 years of experience in the events and exhibitions industry. Most recently, she was general manager of Brede Exposition Services in Denver.

Mather is active in IAEE, Meeting Professionals International, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International and Meetings Industry Council of Colorado.
