G2E announces new show manager

Global Gaming Expo (G2E) recently announced that G2E show manager, Courtney Muller, has been promoted to senior vice president at Reed Exhibitions, the event management company and co-producer of G2E with the American Gaming Association (AGA). Muller leads the team responsible for the ongoing success of G2E, the premier tradeshow and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry.

Tom Loughran has also been appointed industry vice president and show manager for G2E and brings a decade of event management experience to his new position.

“Courtney’s promotion reflects on the important role that G2E plays in the gaming industry and the commitment to ensuring that G2E remains the largest and most successful gaming industry tradeshow in the world,” said Reed’s event partner Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the AGA. “Courtney will continue to be a vital leader of our G2E team and the addition of Tom will help guide us into another impressive decade.”

Muller has worked in the tradeshow and event industry for more 19 years, spending 16 of those with Reed Exhibitions. She previously managed a number of Trade Show 200 events, including G2E, BookExpoAmerica, The Vision Expos, Interphex NY and The New York Restaurant Show.

As a senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions, she will continue to oversee G2E Las Vegas and Macau, in addition to overall responsibility for eight other events covering a variety of industries including eye care, publishing, food services and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Muller will also oversee two specialty sales groups and the conference team at Reed North America.

Loughran has more than a decade of experience working in the event industry, most recently serving as industry vice president for The Vision Expos. In his expanded role as industry vice president for G2E, Loughran is responsible for managing all aspects of the events including sales, marketing, conference operations and registration. He now will serve as the show manager for G2E, adding the event to his growing portfolio of Trade Show 200 events.
