Flagship U.S. partnership between Las Vegas Market and UBM Sinoexpo

Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co Ltd (UBM Sinoexpo), an international media, tradeshow and event organizer, has secured a 7,800 square-foot space in Building B’s home furnishings temporary showcase for Summer Las Vegas Market taking place July 29-Aug. 2.

The Shanghai-based enterprise’s China Pavilion will feature 18 Chinese manufacturers introducing their latest designs.

“Las Vegas Market offers a valuable business platform to connect Chinese manufacturers with U.S. buyers looking to strengthen their product mix,” said Mingliang Wang, founder, Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co Ltd. “UBM Sinoexpo’s goals of creating new business opportunities for buyers and sellers are synonymous with those of International Market Centers (IMC) and we look forward to partnering on this effort.”

UBM Sinoexpo has 34 international exhibitions, with Las Vegas Market as its flagship U.S. event. Their established respective events – Furniture China, Hotelex Shanghai, CPhI China and the China International Boat Show – have grown to be Asia’s leading tradeshows of their kind, attracting worldwide attendance. Based in Shanghai, UBM Sinoexpo also operates three regional offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu in China.

“By building a dedicated China Pavilion in the easily-accessible temporary exhibits on B2, buyers can efficiently shop cutting edge resources fresh to the U.S. marketplace,” said Craig Staack, vice president of home furnishings leasing, International Market Centers. “It will feature a range of products in all categories of home furnishings including bedroom, living room, dining and outdoor furniture, as well as upholstery, mattress and home décor and accessories.”

A cocktail reception will be held on Tues., July 30 during Las Vegas Market at 4 p.m. in the China Pavilion on Building B’s second floor in celebration of the launch.
