Parsons will run point for three of Fixation’s accounts: Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI).

“I’ve known Julie for many years—including during her career at IAAPA—and we’re excited to welcome this savvy marketing pro to Fixation,” said Jean Whiddon, president and CEO, Fixation Marketing.

Parsons comes to Fixation with more than 15 years of experience as a marketing executive in the association and tradeshow industry including 10 years as a Fixation client. With her expertise for forming and implementing top tier strategy on integrated global marketing campaigns, Parsons will leverage her talents to enrich Fixation’s existing account services and client relationships.

“We first met Julie in 2005 through our partnership with IAAPA and have since witnessed her career flourish. Her positive attitude, top-level tradeshow know-how and calculated approach to marketing are wildly impressive, and we’re thrilled to have her join Fixation,” stated Sharyn Collinson, vice president and managing director, Fixation Marketing.

As project coordinator, Brittany Tevis will work closely with both the Account and Creative Services teams to traffic workflow and keep all incoming and outgoing projects organized.

“From my first meeting with Brittany, her passion for process and customer service was obvious. Our clients will benefit from her upbeat attitude and keen focus on details,” added Whiddon.

Prior to joining Fixation, Tevis tapped into her passion for customer service by developing and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals as a research assistant for CoStar Group.

With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland, Tevis also brings a wealth of knowledge in social media.
