Five Canadian Manufacturing Shows Co-locate with CMTS for 2017

Canadian Manufacturing Technology ShowExhibitors and attendees to a number of Canada’s manufacturing technology shows will find an economy of scale in 2017 when five shows owned by Hannover Fairs Canada will be co-located with the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS – pictured). The conjoining of schedules will place Drive & Automation, ComVac, Industrial Automation, Motion parts2clean, and CeMAT trade shows alongside CMTS for the first time, a change organizers say will benefit all involved.

“We were looking to secure a home for these five industrial events in Canada alongside a larger, well-established manufacturing technology trade show,” said Hannover Fairs President and CEO Larry Turner. “The opportunity to showcase these five advanced manufacturing technology shows and their industrial applications to the Canadian audience and beyond is a perfect complement to the technology currently displayed at CMTS and the event’s attendee profile.”

The events are scheduled to take place next September in Ontario and will feature businesses from several sectors of the manufacturing industry, including industrial automation, power transmission, fluid technology and motion control, surface finishing, logistics systems and equipment, and compressed air and vacuum technology. The shows will only collocate every other year, organizers say, as CMTS is a biennial event.
