FIEXPO Latin America was announced as an ICCA supported tradeshow at the last day of the show June 5.
Given to strong regional shows organized by ICCA member companies in a professional manner, ICCA supported tradeshows attract extensive support from members in the region, help organize educational and networking activities alongside the show and maintain participating buyers who are genuinely interested in regional rather than domestic events.
An International Meetings Market Show, FIEXPO Latin America aims at promoting the industry’s infrastructure and services in South and Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico. The 2014 edition involved 15 Latin American Countries, more than 100 exhibitors, 126 hosted buyers and 2,369 pre-scheduled appointments.
“Following the seventh edition of FIEXPO, I’m delighted to announce that the show has been granted ICCA supported status, said Martin Sirk, ICCA president. “FIEXPO meets all these criteria, and has also proved to be an important advocacy platform for our industry, organizing the first Latin American Politicians’ Forum, which attracted ministerial level participation from many countries in the region, as well as senior city officials.”
ICCA is the largest global meetings industry association and the leader in the international association meetings sector. ICCA represents the main specialists in organizing, transporting and accommodating international meetings and events.
