The newest national account managers joining the sales network are Mark Beavers, Maribeth Oberheide and Lisa Williams.
Beavers comes to Experient from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where he was the Scientific Meetings Administrator responsible for promoting scientific conferences, conventions and tradeshow services. He brings extensive industry experience with him, including directing financial operations, attendee registration, accommodations and transportation as well as catering, special needs requirements, event security and corporate sponsorship. He also was responsible for exhibits representing the laboratory’s meetings and courses programs, press and public affairs.
Prior to joining Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Beavers was assistant to the chair of the Dept. of Music and Music Education at New York University. He is a supporting member of the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association and is working toward obtaining his certified manager of exhibits – Healthcare certification. Beavers resides on the South Shore of Long Island, N.Y.
Oberheide joins the sales network from Experient, where she was part of the global sourcing team responsible for sourcing all meetings and events outside the United States and Canada. She has more than 15 years of meeting planning, site selection and contracting experience, with extensive international destination knowledge and a strong background in strategic meeting management and incentive travel. Oberheide resides in Denver.
Williams comes to Experient with more than 25 years of industry talent, including 14 years’ experience as the director of sales and director of national accounts level, she has worked in global sales and on property for Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., handling both domestic and international groups. She was the Canadian Specialist for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. representing more than 75 properties worldwide and has experience in destination and event management. Williams resides in Orlando.
