Lana Calloway, president of Exhibit Resources, announced her retirement after a 40-year career in the tradeshow industry, 25 of those years as the owner and leader of Exhibit Resources, an award-winning exhibit design and production agency.
A strategic alliance with Jake Merzigian of Zig Zibit, also of Raleigh, N.C., allows the referral of clients and staff members to transition accounts and create one of the largest integrated companies in the display and exhibit industry in the Southeast, offering an expanded range of design, production, and expertise to enhance market share and create a larger global footprint in the exhibit industry.
“While retirement is personally exciting, it also saddens me. I will miss our loyal clients as well as our dedicated and professional service team,” said Calloway. “As I transition, I am pleased to have referred our clients and staff members to Zig Zibit. Exhibit Resources was one of the first certified, woman-owned exhibit companies in a predominately male-controlled industry, earning WBENC certification in 2002. Calloway is highly regarded as an industry leader, and she leaves a legacy of award-winning exhibit design and production as an inspiration to other female colleagues.
Over the years, Calloway has served in many leadership roles, including chapter president of Greater Raleigh NAWBO, member of the Advisory Board for Enterprising Women Magazine, member of the Women’s Center of Wake County Board of Directors, and member of the Triangle Down Syndrome Network Board of Directors.
She has won numerous business and community awards, and also led Exhibit Resources to become a Certified B Corporation in 2013, reinforcing her commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
