Adding to her existing management of the ad:tech Group, Amy Allen will assume profit center responsibility for the division’s Collectives Group, which includes 13 annual conferences in the digital marketing space.
“Having had the pleasure of working with Amy since 2002, I have seen her bring tremendous value to the products served,” said Michael Green, president, dmg events USA. “I have complete confidence Amy will once again succeed in this expanded role.”
Prior to joining dmg events – and helping form the U.S. division as senior vice president – Allen spent 15 years producing regional and international award-winning events. She has led tradeshows ranging from boutique to large scale for audiences of 500 to 15,000. Allen worked as show director for Hanley Wood Exhibitions where she also served on an integrated team that sold products across the company’s portfolio. She began her career at Miller Freeman in operations and logistics.
“I appreciate the trust dmg events gave me in helping form the U.S.-focused division, dmg events USA,” Allen said. “I look forward to working with Michael Green to continue the growth of our portfolio by strengthening our current properties and developing new ones.”
Allen has won several awards for her efforts in cross-divisional partnerships, interactive marketing and more.
