EWI Worldwide, a global live communications company, has announced it has signed an agreement to acquire The Trade Event Resource Management (TERM) Group, which specializes in the installation and dismantling of displays for tradeshows and live events.
The TERM Group, a labor management team in the industry, is best known for executing some of the largest and most detailed labor management calls in the nation.
“The TERM Group’s national presence, strong reputation and culture of integrity have made them a key partner to EWI Worldwide for nearly a decade,” said Dominic Silvio, CEO and chairman of EWI Worldwide. “Our shared approach to client service and seamless program delivery will mean greater control over programs and a more streamlined process for clients.”
Operating in over 60 cities nationwide, The TERM Group will provide EWI Worldwide’s clients a service-oriented labor force at a competitive price point. The TERM Group’s focus on maintaining key partnerships to deliver creative solutions will also enhance and provide greater depth to EWI Worldwide’s current capabilities.

Tony Barras and Joe Mondelli will maintain their management roles and will be based out of Foothill Ranch, Calif., and Oak Brook, Ill., respectively.

The TERM Group will operate out of EWI Worldwide’s offices in Chicago and Foothilll Ranch, Calif., while retaining its satellite offices and nationwide presence.
