Event Source, the Midwest and Great Lakes region’s largest provider of rental products for special events and CORT Event Furnishings, the nation’s largest supplier of rental furniture, recently announced an alliance to better serve customers in the Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Detroit areas.
“The key benefit of our alliance is a greater depth of inventory, the convenience of smaller orders without minimums and an expanded market presence,” said John Bibbo, Jr., Event Source president.
Event rental customers are increasingly requesting lounge areas at events of all kinds, from weddings to conventions. Lounge areas are used for relaxing and social networking. The areas also add design elements and color to an event. Event Source and CORT have collaborated to address that need by merging the breadth of their product lines with localized service to provide more options to meet customer requests.
“Customers get the convenience of a single point of contact for all their rental needs and coordinated delivery from two companies with a reputation for quality and service you can count on,” says Mike Davis, group vice president for CORT Event Furnishings.
CORT Event Furnishings collections will further expand the Event Source rental product line with modern tables, seating and lighting. Event Source and CORT items can be mixed or matched in quantities to customize any size event for parties, corporate meetings, conventions, galas, benefits and weddings. Event Source will provide a single point of coordination for area orders with a single contact and invoice, foregoing CORT’s minimum order. Event Source will maintain its own fleet of trucks that will provide delivery and pickup in the Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Detroit areas.
Both companies have begun filling orders, anticipating high demand during the holidays.
