Duke Energy Convention Center welcomes new director of AV services

Officials for Cincinnati’s Duke Energy Convention Center (DECC) welcome the new director of AV services for their preferred AV partner, Prestige AV & Creative Services.

 
paul-ramstetterPaul Ramstetter will replace previous director Jeremy Whalen and is well-known for his excellent customer service skills and having a true passion for creative services. Now in his tenth year with Prestige, Ramstetter has had national success with clients and live-production spanning all market segments within the convention industry.

“I have had the pleasure to see Paul Ramstetter’s work and dedication, and I am very confident that he will continue to raise the bar here at the center and continue to bring in a high level of service and quality to all of our clients,” said Ric Booth, general manager, DECC.

Prior to this position, Ramstetter was director of AV services at the Miami Beach Convention Center, which is managed by Global Spectrum along with the DECC and other facilities.

“I am very excited to continue fostering the relationship with the Global Spectrum family in my hometown of Cincinnati,” said Ramstetter. “I foresee my experience at the Duke Energy Convention Center to be very positive.”

The DECC’s previous director of AV Services, Jeremy Whalen, has accepted a promotion within the company. He will now be the director of sales at the corporate office but will be involved with a few DECC clients when necessary.

The DECC is managed by Global Spectrum and located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati within blocks of top-rated restaurants, bars, pro-sports venues and attractions. Global Spectrum manages more than 100 public-assembly facilities around the world.
